Latest reading
As of August 20, 2026, Canada 10Y (Canada 10-year yield (%)) stands at 3.75% — up from 3.69% the prior reading, 13.25 pp below the September 1981 record of 17.00%. Canadian yields track US Treasuries closely — the two economies and central banks rarely diverge for long — so the spread against the US 10-year is the read: it turns negative when the Bank of Canada is easing faster than the Fed, and it is one of the main drivers of the Canadian dollar. Series history runs from 1955 to present.
