What we offer

One live desk, five pillars.

The Trading Tools starts with a broad public research library and the Market Monitor: one current answer, evidence-driven changes, and direct paths to market monitoring, unusual activity, risk, and valuation. Its Decision Desk keeps four holding periods separate. Premium adds live stock scanners and subscriber strategy pages. Everything speaks the decision-support vocabulary — regime, breadth, base rates, probability, historical context — never personalized buy, sell, or price targets.

The Market Monitor — one front door, three jobs

The homepage starts with the current market answer, then offers direct paths to monitor the market, find unusual activity, or assess risk and valuation. The most important changes across the full system earn placement in the “What moved today” briefing; the complete catalog remains searchable on the All Tools page.

Its Decision Desk reads the same market on four holding periods, each with a dated verdict, its historical base rate, and the condition that would change it: Tape (today–5 sessions — who controls the last 10 sessions, on the Tape Tracker), Swing (1 week–3 months — whether internals support a multi-week hold, on the Swing Tracker), Cycle (3–12 months — how broadly the average stock participates, on the Cycle Tracker), and Valuation (3–10 years — how stretched prices are versus history, on the Bubble Tracker). The clocks are never averaged because disagreement between horizons is information.

Markets — 84 live tools

The health of the tape under the surface — breadth and named breadth signals, volatility and credit, sector and global rotation, crypto, day-trading session stats, options flow, and sentiment — grouped by the question each set answers:

Signals — what happened next

Honest base-rate studies: for each well-known technical trigger, we find every time it fired on SPY since 1993 and tabulate the forward returns across six horizons (1 week to 12 months) — average, median, hit rate, best and worst, with the full sample and the caveats in plain sight. No hot takes, just the historical odds.

What it costs

Nothing. Every tool, dataset, signal study, 13F portfolio and economic indicator on this site is free to read, with no account, no sign-up and no paywall — including the Unusual Volume, Unusual Options Activity and Momentum Scanner pages, which were briefly behind a subscription and are now open. See how it works for the daily workflow behind the site.
