Privacy Policy
The short version: the free site requires no account, sets no tracking cookies, and collects no personal information — we measure aggregate traffic with Plausible, a cookieless privacy-first analytics service. If you subscribe to PRO, we additionally process the minimum needed to run your subscription: your email and sign-in session (via Clerk) and your billing details (via Stripe). We never see or store your card number, and we sell data to no one.

1. Information we collect
The free site collects no personal information. Reading the tools requires no account, no login, and no signup. We do not run advertising pixels or behavioral trackers, and we do not set cookies for tracking. For aggregate traffic measurement we use Plausible Analytics — an EU-based, cookieless service that collects no personal information, stores no persistent identifiers, and cannot follow you across websites. It tells us things like which pages are read and roughly which country visits come from, in aggregate only; it cannot tell us who you are.
If you subscribe to PRO (our optional paid MCP data service), we process what is needed to operate your subscription and nothing more: your email address and sign-in sessions are handled by Clerk (our authentication provider), and your payment details are handled by Stripe (our payment processor). Card numbers go directly to Stripe — we never see or store them. We keep a link between your account, your Stripe customer record, and your API key so the service works; we do not use your email for marketing without your consent.
Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may automatically process basic, non-identifying technical request data (such as IP address and user-agent) in server logs for security and to deliver the page. We do not use this data to build profiles of visitors, and we do not combine it with any other information.
2. How we use information
We use PRO account information only to operate the subscription: signing you in, billing you, delivering your API key, and providing support. We do not use it for profiling or sale. Any technical request data handled by our infrastructure is used only to operate and secure the Site, including basic abuse prevention (such as rate limiting) on the paid API.
3. Cookies and tracking
The Trading Tools does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not embed advertising trackers. Our only measurement tool is Plausible, which is deliberately cookieless: nothing is stored on your device, and measurement is aggregate-only (page paths, referrer domains, country, device class, and anonymous interaction events such as chart-range clicks or CSV downloads — never keystrokes, form contents, or identity). Plausible's own data policy is public at plausible.io/data-policy.
PRO sign-in cookies: if you create a PRO account, Clerk sets strictly necessary authentication cookies (for example a session cookie) so you stay signed in. These are functional, not tracking, cookies: they are not used for advertising and do not follow you across other sites. Clerk documents its cookie usage at clerk.com/docs. If you never sign in, no authentication cookies are set.
4. Information sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. PRO account data is shared only with the processors that make the service work — Clerk (authentication) and Stripe (payments) — each under its own privacy policy, and with our hosting provider as needed to serve the Site. Beyond that, we may disclose data only where required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the Site.
5. Third-party services
The Site is delivered through a hosting/CDN provider and displays data sourced from third parties (including the Federal Reserve's FRED service, SEC EDGAR, and market-data providers). PRO subscriptions additionally use Clerk (authentication) and Stripe (payments). These providers have their own privacy practices governing any data they process.
6. Data security and retention
The Site is served over HTTPS. We hold no card data — payments live entirely with Stripe. Your API key is a revocable credential: you can regenerate it at any time from your account, and the old key stops working within a few minutes. To delete your account and associated personal data, contact us at the address below; note that Stripe retains billing records as required for tax and accounting law.
7. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Your rights (including California)
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grant rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. For visitors who only read the free site, we collect and store nothing, so there is nothing to access or delete. For PRO subscribers, we (through Clerk and Stripe) hold your email, sign-in records, and billing history: contact us at the address below to access, correct, or delete your account data, and we will respond. Stripe retains billing records we cannot delete where tax and accounting law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site evolves. Material changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
